Lithium-ion batteries, of the type used in most electric vehicles (including CUPRA electric vehicles) have a restricted lifespan. Battery capacity will reduce over time, with use and charging. Reduction in battery capacity will affect the performance of the vehicle, including the range achievable, and is one of the factors that may impact resale value. New vehicle performance figures (including battery capacity and range) may be provided for the purposes of comparison between vehicles. You should not rely on new vehicle performance figures (including battery capacity and range), in relation to used vehicles with older batteries, as they will not reflect used vehicle performance in the real world. Dependent on source, some CUPRA Approved Used Cars may have had multiple users as part of a fleet and/or be ex-business use. In order to meet the CUPRA Approved programme requirements, all cars are subject to a rigorous Multi-Point Check by our trained CUPRA Technicians to ensure that they meet the same exacting standards regardless of source. CUPRA requires CUPRA Retailers to ensure that information on previous vehicle ownership is correct based on the V5 logbook detail. The logbook may include the detail of the last owner only (and not any or all earlier owners), and will not detail how the owner used the vehicle.
